Pre-construction services represent
a collaborative effort, sometimes
lasting up to 3 years, between the
Owner, Owner representatives, design
professionals, and Williams Building
Company’s (WBC) staff. To
meet budget objectives and fulfill
design goals is our primary task.
To this end, we have been quite

WBC personnel, from throughout
the organization, operate on the
simple belief that the Owner’s
interests are our own. By working
to achieve Owner’s goals,
we achieve our own. Complementing
that belief is the idea that our

our fee at stake.
Construction contracts that result
from our efforts are either Construction
Management (CM) for a fee, either
fixed or percentage, CM with a guaranteed
maximum price (at risk), or, as
most clients typically select after
budgets are determined, simply lump
sum. Regardless of the type of contract,
pre-construction services are always
a component.
